Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program

The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides an $80 benefit card (one-time distribution) to be used for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farmers markets and roadside stands. It also supports local farming by increasing the use of farmers markets. Funding for this program comes from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Washington State.

Eligibility

To apply, all of the following must be true:

  • Age 60+ (or age 55+ if you are American Indian/Alaska Native) by June 30, 2024
  • Low income — no more than:
    • $2,322 monthly ($27,861 annual) income for one person
    • $3,151 monthly ($37,814 annual) income for two people
    • For larger households, add $829 for each additional person
  • King County, Washington resident (check King County zip codes)

You will not be able to submit this form if you are not eligible.

Selection Process

All eligible applications will be entered into a random selection process. Do not apply more than once, duplicate applications will be removed. If you are selected, you will receive your SFMNP card in the mail in July 2024.
